Naked Malt is crafted from 100% malt whisky from some of the worlds most renowned single malt distilleries, married and double-matured in first-fill Sherry-seasoned oak casks. The whisky is rich with buttery and bright nutty aromas, a smooth mouthfeel and soft flavors of fresh grain pastry, warm vanilla and creamed coffee.
Named the Best Blended Malt Whisky at the 2018 Ultimate Spirits Challenge and honored with a Double Gold medal at the 2019 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.,
Tasting Note :
Aroma : Smooth and oily with notes of cherry compote, buttered granary toast, malt, custard and peach.
Palate : Sherried and thick with notes of sultanas, sticky toffee pudding, raspberry jam, Victoria sponge, custard and crème caramel.
Finish : Medium, with notes of cocoa, oak and just a soupcon of smoke on the very tail.
